Many
years ago I struggled with a strong call upon my life. The things the
Lord laid upon my heart and began to show me caused me to weep even
unto this day. He called me as a prophet to speak the word of the
Lord, regardless of how man would receive it. He
said, I will fill your mouth with a word they will not want to hear. I
argued, Lord, if this is so, why should
I waste my time to go? The
Lord said to me, son, I am sending you to the remnant that will
receive the word with gladness. Sometime
later after a special thirty day fast I was shown an open vision. I
saw the hands of the Lord take the earth and shake it violently. He
began to blow with his mouth and I saw a mighty wind storm and when
the dust settled I saw nations, and governments crumble and fall. I
saw the Lord shake the Church and then stand with his hands
outstretched crying, why did you leave your first love? This time when
he shook the Church, he separated the wheat from the chafe and the
sheep from the goats. Then
I saw a glorious, shinning church, that had conquered every foe and
marching with great victory and great joy. In
our many years of travel we have seen churches and Pastors turn away
from the Lord to follow the way of the world in a lukewarm and distant
fashion; worshipping the desires of their fleshly appetites, pleasing
man rather than the Lord. We
have been in many churches from the Atlantic to the Pacific and seen
the Lord move with great conviction,
changing the lives of people. Oh what a thrill to see bended knees, a
bowed heart and weeping eyes in submission to the Lord.
There is no reward like it. |
